12 Months of Black British History - Decollage workshop

We collaborated with Tina Ramos Ekongo, visual artist and recommended facilitator to develop this impactful creative learning actcivity about black British people who had made a mark. Using the 12 months of the year we picked people who have been born in each month, with black british heriatge from across generations spanning the 18th century to present day! Using the art of collage as the vehicle, pupils will gain a broad understanding of black British contribution to British history and develop tactile skills in visual arts and decollage,teamwork communication and more.
